emotionally with his breakdown, which came somewhere around the middle.

It's impressive how much publicity material Warner Bros. created for Each Dawn I Die.

I LOVE this film. One of my favorite guilty pleasures. Cagney and Raft are great. The casting and direction are perfection. It's brutal, amazing and subversive (look who are the bad guys in this in this film - institutions of power not the inmates.) BRUTE FORCE takes all this to another level but this and I AM A FUGITIVE ... are where it starts.
