On my HK AVR 7200, I decided to use my back channels to get audio in another room, but am going about this slightly differently (I think). I am using a Home Theater Master MX-600, which uses a transmitter so I can control a component without IR line-of-sight. The remote works as it is supposed to.
I have wired my DVD player to the DVD input, the HD STB to Video2 and am running component monitor out to the remote room for video. This also works fine.
I set the Advanced menu to use Multi-Room for SB. The speakers are properly wired. But- no sound to the remote room. What am I doing wrong? I am not using the zone 2 remote because, well, this is not *strictly* a zone two operation. (Not really sure how to set up the RS232 port, etc.)
Shouldn't the speakers work the way I set them up? Please help...
