I am upgrading my system from a pentium 4 to Athalon 64 3400+ I see that there is a free beta copy of 64 bit windows out? Is anyone using this yet, I know the drivers are scarce but it looks like everything I have will be compatible. How is the stablility on it, is it much faster? I am at the minimum going to try out a 64bit version of linux and see how that is also.

I don't have a AMD64, so I can't say for sure, but I have been seeing more and more drivers written to include windows 64 and there's said to be a substantial gain in performance, so giving the new os a shot may not be such a bad idea.

I would say that the best way would be to dual-boot with 32-bit windows XP? Make sense?
