2 into 1 in an optical spliter? (1 Viewer)

My AV receiver has only one optical input. My Hughes E86 and a DVD both need optical for their best performance.
Is there such a thing as a reverse splitter in which I can install two optical cables to input into a single port in my AV receiver?
