Where do any of these replacement subwoofers plug into to receiver? The subwoofer out on the subwoofer is just one plug, whereas the subwoofer has two wires, like a speaker.

Hey all, my subwoofer for my onkyo hts570 recently crapped out for no apparent reason; see this thread: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/...d.php?t=240510. Can I replace it with a different bigger one, or will that mess up the sound configuration and whatnot? Thanks in advance.

New wire didn't work. Any other ideas???

I didnt clip any wires, I just unscrewed the back and saw the orange piece like dangling there. I'll go to radioshack today and pick up a new wire.

I recently moved my onkyo HTIB and when I got it all set up again, the subwoofer wouldnt work. I heard a slight rattling inside, so I took off the back and found some orange thing that looks like a binkie with wings on it :crazy: So I took it out...anyway, I went to replug it in and the sub...

Yeah I looked at the back and there were no HDMI or DVI connections. What would you suggest for the 480p player?

Okay, gotcha. How would that system sound, considering it's almost a grand? Is it worth the risk of the all in one factor for such good sound for $300?

What do yall think about the Onkyo LSV950. It retails for around $800 but I can buy one from a friend used for like $300. Would it just be too much system for a bedroom?
