I am running a 43 tx and is it just me or does dolby digital sound much better than the "highly acclaimed" THX mode? What mode do you guys listen to?

Im not sure about the other types of music but from the rock side, trying out my new axioms, Pearl Jam sounded pretty damn good/impressive.

The initial reason I asked was because a friend bought a JBL subwoofer recently and it did have a drywall warning on it. I can only imagine what your upper end subwoofers can do. My house is settling and I can already see "nail pops". I sure would hate to buy a $1300 subwoofer and $1500 worth of...

I have heard that too big of a subwoofer playing too loud can actually damage your house by seperating the drywall in the joints and loosen the screws. what exactly is too loud and what is too big? This sounds true enough or is this a "urban legend" type thing?

Just bought the sub today and it will hopefully be here week after next. Talking to the helpful customer service with svs, he said that this sub might not be enough for my room. My room is roughly 3100 ft3. I couldnt swing the cash for the PB 2 so I went with the PB-1 anyways. Will i be happy...
