Dolby Digital vs THX

    I am running a 43 tx and is it just me or does dolby digital sound much better than the "highly acclaimed" THX mode? What mode do you guys listen to?

    I prefer to leave THX off on my Marantz 8300 as well.

    When using THX you are still using Dolby Digital (Or DTS).

    THX is a post-process. After the signal gets decoded by the Dolby digital processor it goes to a THX processor where Mr. Lucas alters the sound to the way he thinks it should sound.
