I have a Sony 36" direct view XBR400 set. It started to show me a badly red tinted image and then would shut down. It seems the hue control gets stuck way towards the red end, it occurs on its own. If I shut down for a few hours and turn the set on it seems ok for a little while then it gets red...

I'm not sure what you mean by serial ports but the RCA DTC100 HD sat receiver outputs to the TV with a VGA port. If you want to connect to a HD ready TV you then need the RCA VGA/Comp adapter because most HD ready TV's have component inputs. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive so I can't...

I've got too many darn remotes. I've heard about the Phillips Pronto. Is this the best remote to get, LCD touch screen downloadable codes, etc etc, or does one need to be a rocket scientist to program it properly, and it is true that its hard to use because you always have to look at the screen...

Thanks Steve, Yes I've got the oval dish with dual LNB, but no antenna, in my area there is no over the air HD signals. Do you think with the VGA to Component converter I will lose quality ?
