No, It will replace my 9 year old RCA 35" CRT. I'm still happy with the PJ other than the lousy Analog Channels. I just bought a replacement Lamp for the PJ. The original only had 122 hrs on it but I read where if you get a replacement, use it first cause you know the other one works.
