Let me put it this way, Christopher.

It left me with a REALLY bad taste in my mouth.

The show is still good.  It's just that members of this season's cast leave an awful lot to be desired.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Speechless. If that wasn't scripted, I feel really bad for watching a show with such complete morons. Insulting. If Bill was throwing bigoted epithets at Colton it would have been beeped out or worse, he would be villified by groups on the 'net, making his life when he gets home miserable. Yet Colton, not sure WHY the tribe is following him, spews some pretty ridiculous crap out of his mouth and gets his way??? Bravo to Bill for taking the high road. Hope his comedic career takes a positive path.

If Bill was tossing bigoted epithets at Colton they should have stayed on the broadcast, maybe just one of those "warnings" before the show started. I have gay friends who can't stand Colton and not one of them sashay around in his limpwristed style. He's disgusting and will probably get the crap beat out of him when he returns, if his fellow contestants don't do it first. Please let him get voted off soon, and not so late that he's on the jury.

I find myself pulling for Bill to do good with his career. I can't stand Colton as a person. I too am confused how he can go off on Bill like that and everyone sits there and says nothing to stop him. Bill really took the high road, and I respect that.

It seems like Probst knows he may have a stiff of a season on his hands, so he's ratcheting up the editorial commentary at the challenges and at TC to pick up the drama. With all the extremely unpleasant people in this cast, led by the incredibly obnoxious Colton, I may not even finish this season - and if I do it will be out of habit.

I think Colton just replaced whoever's photo was next to the word "smug".

I don't normally watch "Survivor", but I happened to be in the room when last night's episode was on. I want to put my foot through the television every time Colton's face appeared on the screen. I don't see why they're all afraid of his immunity idol; he's so arrogant, he won't play it anyway. They should have voted him off for putting them in that ridiculous situation.

Colton is a little brat. I would of attempted to flush out the idol by now. I can't believe they were stupid enough to voluntarily go to TC. I'm actually really enjoying this season, more so than last season.

One would think, looking at next week's previews, that

Colton is in big trouble.  However, one should know, based

on how this show works, we are being manipulated.

It's hard to figure out what is scripted and what is not.

I was sort of put off by the surprise look on Probst's face

as the men entered tribal council.  He wasn't surprised.

It's apparent that Jeff knows everything that has happened

in camp that day prior to tribal council as he specifically

asks questions related to those activities.  However, still

being the "newbie" around here, I'll reserve judgement that

Probst was acting out his surprise face.

As for this week's episode....

Really, I look at this move as brilliant.  As much as I

cannot stand Colton, I give him credit for talking the guys

into going to tribal council, making Lief believe he was on

the chopping block, but then completely blindsighting Bill.

Of course, that's a pretty elaborate effort to pull off, and
that's why I still wonder how much scriptwriters came into

play here.

Colton needs to go next.  However, as the many seasons

I have watched, I have come to realize that troublemakers

(like Hanson, Phil, Coach) seem to stay through 3/4 of the

game just for entertainment value.

I can't wait till the book is written on this show about how

much manipulation is done week after week.

I bet the women had no idea the havoc Colton would caused by giving him the HII so early in the game.

When Colton sheepishly admitted to Bill that the one black person in his life was his housekeeper after proclaiming how many African Americans were involved in his life, I couldn't help but laugh uproariously at how pathetic and sad that was.  If this were debate team, Bill would have won the match.  Colton basically lost every single argument as he had no leg to stand on including Colton complaining about Bill not having a real job when Colton is a trust fund baby.

Colton just proves that even a members of a group that has been historically abused by others can be just as bigoted, racist and intolerant as anyone else.

Ron, I'm not so sure how much Probst knows from the days events. Remember, they are at tribal council for sometimes many hours, sometimes close to four hours. I wouldn't be suprised in that time if all the members talk about the day. At that point they may show Probst asking a question on the show, which leads us to believe he already knew about the events, but in reality he learned about them during the previous hour of tribal council that we never see. They script the questions for the show from TC so it seems interesting to us. However, I wish I could pay $5 or something and get a back stage pass on CBS.com and have a chance to watch an entire tribal council. See how many times they get up to use the bathroom, what they talk about, how much interaction the producers have throughout it. Would be fancinating. I'm not saying he doesn't know things, but I've read he doesn't know a lot of things on purpose.

I do not recall a Survivor named Hanson, so I'm thinking you meant Russell Hantz Posted Image

The only Hanson I can find is also Russell Hantz, not particularly somebody I'd want to be connected with. Hanson may be a typo, can't find him anywhere on the different Survivor sites.
