Deep Discount.com now has it showing in stock, and will ship to Canada

http://www.deepdisco...es/888574012168

I ended up ordering the set from Amazon.com. I just hope we see the other harlem globe trotter show released, but from previous threads that it is held up do to licensing issues.

My Super Harlem GlobeTrotter set came this week as such I have watched a few episodes. The episodes that I watched were ok, but nothing to write home about when it comes to the quality. I added the set as I grew up with Curly/Twiggy/Geese/etc as such it was a set I wanted for my collection!

Now, they've seemed to have stopped answering questions of any kind, animation of otherwise. And now that they've blown their opportunity to put out anything big for the holidays, I can only assume there's going to be yet another gargantuan months-long gap between now and the next animated set.

I've just about given up on the Warner Archive. They're staffed by bozos and they're never going to put out any early H-B (from the 50's-60's) or Theatricals.

After Thanksgiving they do not do any new releases just reissues and sales for the rest of the year. A lot of the staff is on holiday so they won't answer questions as frequently. Everything will return to normal in January.

This has been their normal routine for the past two years and this year.

I've just about given up on the Warner Archive.

I gave up hope that my favorites would come out, about two years ago now.

There just haven't been signs WA will release 70s and early 80s shows like the

2nd season of Laff-a-lympics, Clue Club, Jana of the Jungle, The Flintstone Comedy Show,

or Goldie Gold & Action Jack.  Those are the ones i want, besides a decent release of

the rest of the Scooby Doo episodes in some form of season set.

I just pose a question on HB's facebook page asking if there will be more releases in 2015 as 2014 was a slowed year for releases. I am happy what I own, but there are some more sets I like to add to my collection!

Thats odd because a quick check of their facebook page and they have and continue to answer questions.  Questions were answered today as little as a few hours ago.

Anyone who has followed HB releases at the Warner Archive would know that December generally is a slow period until January thaw. :)

I was more concern about Jan-June time frame as that is known as good time period for releases. Since we are in December 2014 as such does not appear much is coming out between Jan-Mar as those announcement usual happen in Nov/Dec

It seems to me that most Warner Archive releases are popped onto us at the minute of release with little if no notice at all. Something ive never liked but its the nature of the beast.

Many had given up on WKRP, Wonder Years and Batman and now they are all released. So you never know whats coming next and with so many animated shows for WA to release someone is always going to be unhappy. I mainly want 60's and 70's HB so I was happy with the releases from 2010-2012 while others were not happy with the releases then. 2013 was a little slimmer for me and this year very little that I wanted was released. But there are others who were waiting for shows like Marine Boy, Gilligans Planet, Gobots, Jetsons Season 3, Shirtales and Super Globtrotters so it was a good year for them.

Laugh a Lympics and Scooby Doo belong to WHV so they most likely will not be coming from WA but Clue Club has been acknowledged by them many times as a planned release.

Great list!! I see you and I have some shows in common! I would love to see Sony lift the ban on "Jeannie" or "Partridge Family 2200AD" or other shows as well.

Of course, in the case of Jeannie that has to do with H-B's ownership of Babu.

The same problem occurs with Fonzie and Friends (the name of the syndication package made up of the programs The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, Laverne & Shirley in the Army, and The Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour): while CBS/Paramount controls ownership due to the cartoon series' ties to Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy respectively, H-B does claim ownership of all characters made specifically for these cartoons: Cupcake and Mr. Cool (The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang); Sgts. Turnbuckle and Squealy (Laverne & Shirley in the Army); and Doing, Eugene, Hamilton and Mr. Caruthers (Mork & Mindy).
