Has anyone had a chance to compare these two speakers? I listened to the LSI9's recently and am going to check out the paradigms in the near future and was wondering if anyone had an opinion. The speakers will be connecting to a Nad integrated amp.

Thanks,

Mike.

P.S. Can anyone help reduce my font size Posted Image

Go into your User Control Panel, and click on Edit Profile. Look at the last item on the page ("Post Font Size").

I have the studio 40's in veneer on my main system and the lsi9's on my second system. The 40's veneer is much nicer than the lsi9's and I like the looks of the 40's better. Both speakers I feel are very well made. Both sound great. The 40's I feel are more bright than the lsi9's. I end up spending more time with movies on the 40's and more time with music on the lsi9's. I love both, but if I had to choose, I'd take the lsi9's since they were much cheaper.

Thanks Steven. I am going to go have a listen to the Sudio 40's this weekend. These speakers will be used for music only and the polk's are available to me at a much better price than the digm's. I will let ya know what I think.

TTYL.
