Actually I added that one! A longitime family favorite there. Love to see it on DVD though I fear a FF transfer. :frowning:

I'm busily adding all these titles as I watch The Grey Zone. So far (29:16) it's somewhat of a disappointment.

Also Dave,

That DVD guy's name is Jeff Tuckman.

Also, you had Choose Me on your list but I'm pretty sure it already is on DVD!

Send more 80's stuff! I love it! Great lists so far!

I had forgotten! :b I never see it anywhere, so I haven't bought it yet. I'll just order it online, I guess.

Thanks for the name of that guy.

Oh, you can put a :) next to "Once Bitten" now...there's a thread in Software that mentions its coming in August as part of the new Midnight Movie series.

Hey, got a question.

If TV shows aren't supposed to be on that list, then what's "Police Squad! (1982) - Paramount" doing there?

I'll think of some more later.

20th Century Fox
Star Wars (1977)
The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Return of the Jedi (1983)

Columbia Tri-Star
Lawrence of Arabia: Restored Director's Cut
Monster Squad

I think most folks know what I mean by LOA.

Good question. That was one that I added at the beginning mainly because I so fondly remember those 2 VHS versions that Paramount put out in the 1980s. I guess the series being previously released on video predicated my adding it to the list.

Damn am I a hypocrite or what?? Should I start including TV shows on this list?

No, really, don't include TV shows. What's the point? A, the TVShowsOnDVD database already takes care of that, and B, the list here would get longer and muddier.

Keep it to "movies".

No worries, Rob! I love the obscure 80s ones you keep throwing out!

Movies I saw back when they first hit VHS and haven't thought of since:

Rustlers' Rhapsody
Xtro
Yor, The Hunter from the Future
American Dreamer
Bad Medicine
Hunk
The Rosebud Beach Hotel
Club Paradise

And props to Dave for remembering the 1-2 punch that is Gotcha! and TAG: The Assassination Game. :D

The 1959 Ben-Hur is just Ben-Hur give or take a few "William Wyler's" and "In Camera-65" credits.

The 1925 version is Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ.

Even more nit-picky, the 1907 version is Ben-Hur: Featuring the Horse-Racing Club of New York City.

I'll reformat my post to make it a little easier...
