Ipod hookup (1 Viewer)

I have a klipsch subwoofer and 2 decent JBL bookshelfs that I want to use for my ipod in my bedroom. Since these speakers arent powered do I need an amplifier? Should I just buy another reciever to power the speakers? Any other way to use a subwoofer with an ipod?

You'll need a receiver. Either that or buy a set of powered speakers (like the kind made for computers).
