Yamaha AV receiver connected to Panasonic Viera tv. Sound is heard in front speakers and subwoofer. No sound in the three surround sound speakers. Have checked all the connections. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I assume you have the menu settings correct for the surround speakers?

Is your source 2 channels? Only 5.1 content has the surrounds used.

What's the source?

Going to need some more details to try and help.

The tv is connected to the Yamaha using an HMDI. The HDMI is connected to the TV HDMI 2 (ARC) and Yamaha HDMI out eARC/ARC. Not sure about channels.

I have also tested the speakers through the Yamaha setup. ARC is turned on.
