Hello everyone, I wondered if anybody on this forum has researched or is using a turntable connected to the phono outputs of their AV receiver. I have recently purchased an Audio Technics turntable, I have hundreds of vinyl records and want to get back into listening to them after several years. However, the sound being produced is not the bet and I suspect it may be the capacitance of the built in phono stage is way to high for the tone arm and cartridge of my new turntable. I have downloaded a service manual for my receiver but don't understand any of it, and there is no info at all on the phono stage.
The next step is to ring Yamaha Australia, but I've done this previously and it was painful to say the least.
