Alan,

I got best results with the MC1s mounted so that my ear was at the midpoint of the panel to match up with the 1.6s.

So, you can take from this what you will

Thanks for that......I'm going to mess with some placement when I get the trial pair of MMGs, but Im fearful that I just won't be able to make the Maggies work for surrounds.....unless I let go of any hopes for a 6.1 or 7.1 configuration. I probably could find a way to arrange a 5.1, but in a less than ideal manner. Oh well, I won't know until I try
