Thinking about getting a Sirius setup for work but wanted to get some more info on expected reception.

I'm outside Detroit and I've got 2 decent size windows in my office but they are on the North side of the building. WIndows are big enough that I should be able to point the ant to the NE or NW. South would be a big issue though.

Sirius uses three satellites in eccentric figure-8 looking orbits that fly over central Canada at their northern point. A northwest facing antenna would be your best bet for satellite signals. However, antenna placement may not be a problem depending how far from Detroit you are, since Sirius also has a network of terrestrial repeaters in many metro areas.
