I have bigger issues with how it was filmed - has a stupidly huge fish-eye effect that I find overly distracting. That one little photographic choice makes it practically unwatchable for me.

The fish-eye effect IS Cinerama. It gives the image size and scope that isn't actually there to achieve an "awe" effect. Think a GoPro set to the most extreme. Same effect.

It will also have its 60th anniversary European premiere in the Schauburg in Kalrsruhe, Germany tomorrow:

It will also be a great occasion to meet Dave Strohmaier and Randy Gitsch and all during my first screening of Grimm.

Oh well, things went all wrong today as in the morning one of us tested positive for Corona so we could not attend any of the screenings on the last day. No brand new 70mm print of AIRPORT and no 4K GRIMM...
