2 Best Picture
2 Best Director
2 Best Actor
2 Best Actress
2 Best Cinematography
1 Best Supporting Actor
1 Best Supporting Actress
1 Best Original Score/Song
1 Best Writing - Screenplay (Original/Adaptation)

1 Best Foreign Language Film/Documentary/Short/Animated/etc.

Free-for all - You can pick in any category during any of your turns but your picks Must complete the required fields above.

I thought this would be the most fair way to do this.

When you make your picks state the year & category

Alright, assuming Erik really did mean to take my beloved LoA despite the fact that it was the Best Picture Winner in 1962, not 1963, I will pick:

Best Director- David Lean for Lawrence of Arabia (1962)

This way I get David Lean and Lawrence of Arabia!

:D

P.S. I probably would have picked Peter O' Toole for Best Actor if he actually won (like he should have).

You have 16 Rounds happening. May I suggest making it an even 20?

You could have 2 Writings, one for Adapted and one for Original (there are way too many of each to lump them together).

You could have 1 Visual Effects and then lump Makeup/Art Direction/Costume Design/Sound/etc. (there are so many geeks here that most would go for Visual Effects anyway, thereby shortchanging those other categories.

I think Foreign Language and Documentary should be split, and/or Score/Song should be split.

The last category round could be a Wild Card for anything outside of the "Big 8" (iow, no Pic, Dir, Writer or Actor), or it could be a Wild Card having to do with the show itself, host, venue, Best Dressed, wildest/best Oscar moment, best Lifetime Achievement/Hersholt recipient, whatever.

We're in this for the duration, and it's big already, why not go all out?
