SVS has announced a ‘lifestyle-friendly’ piano gloss white finish for the SB-2000 Pro subwoofer, priced at $899.99. The SB-2000 is the company’s most popular model and joins other speakers and subwoofers (including Ultra Bookshelf, Prime Elevation, Prime Satellite and Prime Wireless Powered speakers, as well as SB-1000 sub) in getting a limited edition white makeover, all of which are detailed here.
The SB-2000 Pro subwoofer includes a 12-inch high-excursion SVS driver and 550 watts RMS, 1,500+ watts peak power Sledge STA-550D amplifier with discrete MOSFET output. Also onboard is a 50MH Analog Devices Audio DSP with 56-bit filtering and there are processing features facilitating in-room tuning and optimized frequency response curves.
