Thank you for that fine review. You know I still haven't even open my 60th Anniversary Box of Junk. I liked this movie so much that I bought the less expensive 2012 Blu-ray prior to picking up that Box of Junk which is the one I have watched over the last decade. So now, I have three Blu-ray releases plus this 4K disc with the 2012 Blu-ray. I bought the 2015 4-Musical box that included "Singin". I should have my head examined.

Nearly all the special features found in the 2012 DVD bonus disc are included with the Apple TV digital copy that comes with the new 4K disc.

As noted in my review:

Digital Copy: An insert contains a code to redeem a digital copy in UHD on Movies Anywhere. Many of the omitted special features are available on select digital retailers.

Fortunatlely, I have the 2012 disc .. i think. I'll check later. The Apple copy of course is totally useless and I don't think will even come with the Australian disc.
Anyway, thanks for the great review, Todd. Can't wait for its release here.

Video looks flawless but that cover?
Ugh…. why?
But video will always triumph anything. I’ll take it in a brown paper wrap.
Thanks for the review Todd.

I have the 2012 standard blu-ray release and I remember being disappointed that it didn't include the deleted outtake of Debbie Reynolds You Are My Lucky Star and the documentary Musicals Great Musicals: The Arthur Freed Unit at MGM. I ended up having to purchase the 2 disc DVD just so I could get the special features disc. I was hoping they would finally include it on this release but I guess I'll just keep my blu-ray and DVD so I still have it. Thanks for the great review! My 4K disc arrives tomorrow :)

That boxed set we received from Warner is also still under shrink wrap and I also bought a single copy just so I wouldn't have to open it. I also have a sealed Casablanca boxed set.

If Singin' In The Rain only qualifies as a 4.5/5 for production (which is based on the quality of the film itself rather than the presentation ) what does qualify as a 5/5 in your mind ?
