I bought new F&D f3000u 5.1 ch home theater system 3 days back and connected it to PC which supports 5.1 output. But whenever i try to increase the sound level, the woofer speaker wouldn't keep up and output will be irritating. Every speaker is properly wired and there is nothing i can do with connectivity but only the problem is it wouldn't keep up when the sound level is at/more than middle. I bought it with full hope for blasting bass effect but now m quite disappointed please tel me what to do.I really like the clarity and bass level of this system so other than buying other F&D model which costs higher than this please give me some valuable suggestions because i want to enjoy bass effect in this system at /above middle sound level without any adverse sound effects.and please tel me how to get 3d surround sound configuration which works all the time irrespective of the displacement of speaker.

I looked up your speaker system:
http://www.fendaindia.com/products_view.asp?id=45
"3" full range driver for satellites and 5.25" bass driver for subwoofer"
From the spec sheet:
"Music Power: 79 Watt
Output power (RMS):
Front: 10 Watt ×2
Center: 10 Watt
Surround: 10 Watt ×2
Subwoofer: 29 Watt"
I bought it with full hope for blasting bass effect
So, you bought a 29 watt 5.25" sub and am not happy with the bass response...
There isn't much about the specs for this system on the web site - weather you can add an external sub to it - but it looks like an all in one system that cannot be expanded. If you can add an external powered sub, then you could go that route to improve your bass response.
I think you are probably expecting too much from that sub - and may have to go in a different direction if you want to be happy with the bass response.

as martino said. a 5.25in sub running 29watts wont give you much of anything. Where are you using this? room size i mean.

to get a "blasting" effect like your saying. i use a 10in sub running at 200watts rms and that gives you some power. Especially in a 12ft x 12ft cement dorm!

I am not as familiar with PC speaker systems as home theater systems - but going by your request - I looked for a review of the creative inspire T6160 and found one:
http://www.pcworld.in/product/review/creative-inspire-t6160
From that review - I looked for a few clues on bass response...and found these:
The bass is punchy, warm and has good timing which is good for a budget system. But once again, the Logitech X-540’s subwoofer has much more depth, detail and impact.
For immersive gaming and explosive bass experience, the Logitech X-540 is a much better bet.
That reviewer seem to like the Logitech system better...so I looked up the Logitech X-540 -- a similar priced product that was mentioned in the creative-inspire review...looked that one up as well.

That system run for $84.00

I'm not sure what your budget is, or if you are looking for a gaming system for better game play sound, or a home theater system for watching movies and getting a theater experience in your home....I don't think that any of these all in 1 gaming systems will have a sub that I would add to a home theater system....
I looked a little further into that system - and it also has a 5.25" driver for their sub...with a little bigger amp, and a down firing ported design. It is probably the box design that gives this sub a little more response than the other one....but again, with the laws of physics, you are not going to be getting earth shattering bass from this sub either....
-- 1 x Subwoofer - 25 Watt - Wired
-- Subwoofer : 1 x Subwoofer driver - 5.25"
I started looking around for similar PC based sound systems, and looked at the subs with these systems as well. I found one that used an 8" driver (still small in the sub world) - and the cost goes up to $346.99 as well...
8" - 165 watt sub...http://www.maximumpc.com/article/reviews/logitech_z906_51_speaker_system_review

And another one with a 10" sub - again very small by home theater specs - and this one runs for $533.00

I wanted to recreate the tactile sensation (thump in the chest) of explosions when watching action movies. I use dual 15" subs powered by an amp that pushes 1,600w at 20hz. But I'm a little nuts when it comes to bass in my home theater.

MSR800W Subwoofer- m planning to use it as an external sub -....wat is your opinion
I looked up MSR800W - and got a PA system 15" sub from Yamaha....runs around $800.00
http://www.zzounds.com/productreview--YAMMSR800W
-- This sub is for live music reproduction to be used with a PA system - not an at home sub.....if you have a live band and a PA system, you would go with that one...but it is not for home use..
For a home theater sub in that price range - this one has dual 15" drivers and goes for $800.00

This would be an overkill for your system - if it would actually work...
The problem you would have as your current system does not have an output for an external sub...so even if you were to get an external home sub, you cannot connect it to your system. The external subs themselves come with a built in amp - but you need to be able to send it a signal somehow.
Your system sends all of the sound information to their sub first, and then pull out the higher frequencies and send these to the speakers. The sound processing itself is done inside of this sub...so there is no external connection where you can just replace the sub with a new one....
If you hooked up an external sub through the speaker connections - you will end up removing the bass information before sending it to the sub....so it will not work...
