New Subwoofer (1 Viewer)

I have an Onyko HT-RC360 with 100 w and plan on purchasing a BIC Acoustech Pl-200 with 250 w rms. Is this a problem or MUST I purchase a subwoofer with a lower rms?

The subwoofer is self-powered so the wattage doesn't have any bearing on the receiver. You could get a subwoofer with a 1500 W amp and it won't affect the receiver, either.

About the only place in Home Theater where wattage (and size) DOES matter is with a subwoofer. The more (and bigger) the better.

And...It will have a volume knob.
