I recently bought this disk from Amazon Germany. I thought I would post a brief review.

Walt Disney. Light in the Forest. 1958. Adventure, Western, Family. German Release.

Is this bootleg? It looks like a VHS rip. I am not sure what company released this.

I would love for Disney to release a remastered version on blu-ray in the Disney Movie Club / Disney Plus.

I bought this school edition years ago listed as a Disney Educational Production.

I'm not sure about the the German disc, but the Disney edition was a very limited release back in the day and as far as I'm aware has been OOP for 2 decades.

Somebody I've had a conversation with (maybe it was MarkA) had a personal connection with the actual characters the movie was adapted around. Unfortunately it probably banned from being shown in schools in some states these days since the premise was to teach kids patience and understanding

I've seen rare sealed copies on Ebay of the US DVD for well north of $200

The Disney release was meant to be sold to schools etc seriously doubt Disney would license to Nine Dragon Films
