DVD Review HTF DVD Review: Ratatouille (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody,

I’ve been reading the forum since 2001, but this is my first post. I’ve been learning a great deal here about aspect ratio, film preservation, transfers, etc…so it’s silly to have waited that long to enter the discussion.

That said, many thanks, Dustin, for those details. I’m living in Paris, France, and a collector’s edition of the movie is to be released next February. I’d bet this is going to include what are, for you, Walmart and Target exclusives (at least, I hope so). So those with multi-region players (and an interest in this movie) around the world and no access to Walmart or Target can go this route: one disc z1 edition (no Pal speed-up) and z2 French collector for the 2nd disc.

And, to refer to some previous argument in this thread, the movie is so good, I‘d buy it even with no supplements at all. For me, it’s a masterpiece, even though it will be necessary to wait a few years to see if that opinion still holds true.
