After updating my list on dvdaf.com I'm up to 270 sets.
Among the favorites in my collection are the complete special editions of Freaks and Geeks and Homicide: Life on the Street

guys, how do you store them? I mean I've got 54 and finding it hard and I want to keep on buying, any recommendations of storage furniture? thanks

!!! Man, that's a collection I was telling my nephew that I have about 120 sets and that I'm "small potatoes" on the HTF TV/DVD Forum. The studios would have to release a lot more 60's-70's sets for me to get within a light-year of your #"s One reason that my collection is on the smaller side is that I have very few series sets that originally aired after '96 or so and no series after that.

Nick, as for storage....that's a problem for me too. Right now, mine are sort of scattered in 2 rooms but I'm getting close to ordering some DVD storage furniture. Here's a DVD-Storage Furniture site that I've been looking at for a while:

I actually went to my listing and boy! was I wrong. I thought I had 130-140. I have a total of 182 (including mini-series) with an additional 19 specials (mostly Peanuts and Rankin-Bass Christmas Specials), 16 TV Movies and 33 documentaries.
It's almost exactly one-third of my DVD collection (250 of 752)

And currently most of my collection is housed in plastic totes since I moved a week ago and I haven't figured out how to "display them since the walls of bookshelves that previously housed them were left behind in the old house and there isn't anything like that in the apartment I moved into. I'll figure out something... Being part of the Challenge next year should kept them rotated in and out of the totes!
