We all agree that 1970s fashions really got awful after Five-0 got to around 1972 and for several years after that. But if that was a valid reason to not continue watching this show, then other series such as The Rockford Files and All in the Family wouldn't have become so enormously successful best-sellers on DVD.
Keep watching Hawaii Five-O, because the filmmaking process and music (particularly the theme) all improve over the years. The writing doesn't even start to noteably slip until after Chin Ho is killed at the end of the 10th season, and the show doesn't fall apart until Danno quits (without explanation) after the 11th.
