What happened? I've been eagerly awaiting this long overdue Amicus title (the last, aside from Vault Of Horror) but it never appeared. It has vanished from DVDPacific, and is "unavailable" on Amazon.

Disappointed, to say the least.

An early review copy was sent to someone at DVD Maniacs and he trashed the quality of the transfer. Apparently Image/RetroMedia couldn't get a decent copy of the film to transfer by the release date. Image doesn't even list it on their site. Since Warners issued the widescreen laserdisc, I hope they end up doing the DVD release of this - maybe around Halloween 2007.
