On December 1st Carlotta Films in France will release a new 4K Ultra HD box set of François Truffaut’s The Adventures of Antoine Doinel which includes The 400 Blows, Antonine and Colette, Stolen Kisses, Bed and Board, and Love on the Run. It looks like no English subtitles but Criterion did release the same box set in 2002 and i hope they will re-release it again in Blu-ray or 4K.

Top news. These are his most important works and it would be great to have them (especially 400 Blows) in 4K.

This is great news - there are loads of old Criterion blu ray releases that badly need remastering. mK2 is also releasing four of Kieslowski's masterpieces on 4K in France: The Three Colours Trilogy and The Double Life Of Veronique.

I do have a few UK Blu-rays from 2014 like Two English Girls and Confidentially Yours so it would be nice to see new releases of them. Criterion did release both titles on laserdisc.

This would be a great move for Criterion. 4K transfers available and no need to commission new artwork or update packaging. Keep the same packaging and artwork and issue it on UHD/Blu. The DVD set was terrific.
