Hello, i want to add Subwoofer to my Home Theater there few that interested me:

1. Klipsch R-115SW
2. SVS-PB-2000
3. GoldenEar ForceField 5
4. Velodyne EQ-Max 15


Can you give me your opinion which Subwoofer you would take ?

My pick is the GoldenEar.

More (ported design)subwoofers should be redone with a passive radiator. They are a lost art.

How big is your room? Is it enclosed or open to a bigger room? What are the other speakers in your system?


I have been a fan of SVS subs for many years (I just purchased 2 more in December). One of the founders of SVS has a new company called Power Sound Audio. I would check them out as well.
