I got brave and wrote a few risky articles on Wikipedia. I'm not sure if I can post URL's because I am new here but it's Wikipedia so a google search of the titles should bring them right up. I wrote center channel a long time ago-just google it; I think it's the number one result, as well as surround channels recently which does not show up as easily in google so I'll try to post the url.

On Tomlinson Holman's 12 or 14 channel (now 13 channels, 11.2 is what they're going for now is what I've heard from Chris Kryakakis) surround system.
