I am looking to increase my DVD collection (see other psoting today). I have an Onkyo 595 receiver that has the DTS encoding. What DVD's are at the top of your list that have DTS? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. You'd have better luck posting this in the POLLS forum.

It's been said before, but certainly bears repeating:
The Haunting.
Disposable movie but absolutely incredible DTS sound. I think a subwoofer is an essential element of this, however. The bass just rolls right over you during certain sections. A very active audio mix also pays off in great surround effects. It always impresses folks who've never heard 5.1 audio!
And a selection that I've not heard mentioned, but one I certainly stand up for:
Hannibal.
The Dolby Digital version sounds (to me, anyway) cold and limp. The DTS version really impressed me, especially since I wasn't expecting much. Not flashy in the same sense as The Haunting, but very effective.

I have to mention Roy Orbisons "Black and White Nights" for its exceptional DTS track. VERY active surrounds and very clean.
I use this disc often to demo my system for friends who are looking into an HT system and jaws really drop over the sound. Since I got the SVS sub, it has only got better.
There's definitely some great DTS titles mentioned above and I certainly prefer the DTS soundtrack whenever possible.

I agree with alot of the one's mentioned before.
One that I don't believe has been mentioned is The Living Sea (IMAX).

I personally think Se7en sounded great. One the best I've heard cause it made the atmoshpere so much more encompassing.

The new Superbit Air Force One takes what had been a reference quality soundtrack and boosts it up a couple more notches, well past eleven on the DTS track. http://www.digitallyobsessed.com/sho...w.php3?ID=1700

I'll second Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night." I use this to demo my system. It gets their jaws dropping every time. Simply awesome.
