Back surrounds or another set of Atmos? (1 Viewer)

Currently running 5.1.2 Looking at a new 9 channel receiver, Just looking for advice/opinions. What would you do if you could only do one. Add back surrounds or add another set of Atmos speakers. Currently have front height for Atmos so would be adding rear heights, Thanks

Do a google search for "7.1.2 versus 5.1.4" and you will get a lot of opinions. The majority seems to be 5.1.4 is better especially for watching movies.

By "front height" speakers, I expect you mean speakers high on the front wall as opposed to overhead on or in the ceiling. Atmos speakers are supposed to be overhead, not just high on a wall. If that's the case, can you put any speakers in or on the ceiling, spaced about as wide as the front L&R? Also, is there any room behind the main viewing position where you can put speakers several feet behind it?
