We want to out-source our web-hosting. Currently resides on our file server (NT4). Can this be done without affecting email ? We have about 25 individual email boxes here.
All I want to do is have our website reside off-site without affecting email.

Should be no problem with that. The two are completely unrelated. All it will take is a simple DNS change to point www.yourwebsitename.com to the new ip address provided by your hosting company. Leave the DNS records for your mail the same as they are now, and voila they're split.
Are there specific concerns that you have about the split?
