Jerry makes some great points in this enlightened article. Im a light audiophile myself but I was proud of myself that I had acheived at least a couple of his suggestions all on my own; get all your gear away from your living space, put it all in a closet (or a rack) and investing in...
Just a heads up Monoprice has a three pack of 5' ultra high speed hdmi cables on sale for $9.45 shipped. Not a bad price if you are upgrading to 4k and need new interconnects.
Recommendations for binoculars that will work well for a 18' projector throw? My older Sony projector has some focus drift and doesnt have powered focus so I find myself fine tuning the focus more often and binoculars would help alot.
Just thought Id give a heads up on a speaker system I just built at a significant savings.

http://www.soundandvision.com/content/are-tower-speakers-obsoleteI do find it interesting he mentions a good sub and bookshelves can be an alternative. "Those who assert that only towers can produce satisfying bass just haven't listened to enough (or good enough) subs." I wonder what one has to...

This morning I got a lightly used Panasonic TC-P65ST30 for $640 off Craigslist (included two pair of Panasonic 3D glasses). There are two gotchas. The TV came with a wall mount but does not have the stand. Sadly wall mounting is not an option in my current room so off I was to hunt down a...

I've had a chance to screen Step Up 3 as my first-ever 3D experience in my own home theater. This 3D review might be a good read for those folks still be on the fence about 3D, or perhaps useful to those considering their first-ever 3D front projection system. Keep in mind this is just my...
