That would be great if I could use the UMC200 in any of my theatres...(too basic for my needs)

O sorry. I was referring to the Sherbourn PT-7030

The 7030 does more. Do you need more than the umc200 offers?

UMC-200 pretty much meets all my current needs. The 7030 does have more HDMI ports and legacy support which would be more convenient for me. In the future I would like to switch to balanced audio, but odds are I would be getting a new pre-amp by then and this pre-amp would be moved to the second home theater.

The 7030 was, when new, $2000(I think...it was at least twice what it is now)

I would take a close look at the UMC-1. It doesnt support 3D so it may require a work-around. But otherwise if it fits your needs its an outstanding performer and can be found on the used market for $300 shipped...http://emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/34899/fs-umc-1
