So, that Yamaha DV-S2500..didn't quite make out by early November, did it?

(Over on AVS forum, they're saying January at the earliest -- and a call to Yamaha backs this up; the Y guy told me mid-January)

True. Guess what else I found out? My contact at Yamaha that told me November? Suddenly his excuse was, he thought I was talking abou the new 2500 receiver that came out! IT came out in November! :frowning:

Trust me, he knew exactly what I was talking about. January or so is correct for this DVD player.

Yeah, that was lame. However, even "lamer" is Yamaha providing the excuse by introducing to new receivers with the same name (designation) as two of their existing DVD players. Im sure whom ever made that decision (mr. marketing genius) makes ten times my salary.
