Ws-55511 Coming...expectations??? (1 Viewer)

I have a opportunity to upgrade my Sony KP53HS10 4:3 to a Mits WS-55511.
I currently watch most movies I see via DVD and they look great on the Sony using a Yamaha DV-C6840.
I also have Dish and plan on upgrading to the SuperDish when it comes out.
What should I expect?
Like what will normal digital dish channels look like?
I'm hoping one or two 511 owners will come forward and let me know what they like and dislike.
PS My neffffew has a Mits and I'm also impressed with NetCommand....so my wife will quit bitching about the remotes is this realistic??

Hi Kevin, I have the WS-55511 and I love it, and has the best picture I have ever seen after proper tweaking. Netcommand is great, you can control any device compatible with netcommand with your TV (it has to have firewire (IEEE 1394) in order to use it). I have the directv, and most channels look good, but remember that crap in-crap out, so this is not a TV issue, directv doesn't have the best video signal. Bottom line I don't have any complains with my TV, in your case, I will go for it. Hope that helps.

I thought Net Command also had a IR blaster for non firewire components...????
