Hi, I am just wondering if 18mm black ash chipboard is ok for a small subwoofer, the box will be braced and totaly airtight.
The subwoofer driver and amp will be part of the IPL subwoofer kits.
I already have the black ash chipboard wood cut and ready, it was free a present from a friend who works with wood and he said chipboard would be fine for subwoofers.
I always thourght MDF or Birch plywood would the the best for sub boxes but is 18 mil chipboard good enough?
