i think that is a shame. if anything, people need to watch the series more now than ever. it shows the realism of war, the character of the airborne and military, and the courage we had taking on Nazi Germany. how could anyone find this series inappropriate?

I saw first hand, last night, on the HGTV network.

As far as I know HBO is still planning to air the series. This is indeed a great testiment to the courage and will of the US and its allies in WW II and should offer an inspiration to this generation.
