Why not get a SVS 16-46PC+ ? (1 Viewer)

Other than size and price, why would you prefer the 20-39PC+ over a 16-46PC+ ?

I realize that the 20-39 is going to have a slightly higher output in the upper frequency range, but is there any other reason?

Other than how low they go, won't they sound alike at moderately high volume levels?

Size and price is it - this is all in the 'what do you want' category. All specs and reviews are consistent, 16 goes lower with less volume at higher freqs. Only those with the largest of rooms and the very focused of audiophiles are dissapointed with the 16's volume level at higher freqs.

I went 20-39 because of bang for the buck. I really believe the 16-46 would handle my midsize room just fine..

Size is the reason I wouldn't buy the 16. Too much sub for me. I'm very happy with a 25.
