I was wondering when are we having our next chat, are we having one with Fox and WB again? Because I can't wait to ask my next questions about what is coming for TV Shows.

I've been wondering that myself. Fox and WB would be great....we also haven't had one with Paramount in quite a long time.

    Hi, all...

My "late" Christmas wish is to be able to talk to someone at Universal. I don't know this for sure, but from reading bits and pieces here & there, I get the feeling that contacting Universal's Home Video Dept (much less getting any info) is similar to breaking into Ft Knox [IMG]

Anyone else out there feel the same? (I have an ulterior motive in asking Universal questions since I'm a "Bionic" series (6M$M and Bionic Woman) fanatic [IMG]

Universal never talks to anyone. Never has.

Columbia did a chat a few years back, but now doesn't even respond to consumer complaints.

And I won't even mention Disney.

Paramount had chats here with Martin Blythe, who seemed happy to do it. When his upper management changed at one point, they told him not to do chats anymore, and he had to stay within policy.

Fox (specifically Peter Staddon) and Warner (usually a team of 4-5 players from different depts: film, TV, classics, kid, etc.) are the ones who have done chats recently. I'd love to have a new chat. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can pick a single question to ask out of the many I would want to! [IMG]

I would love to talk with Universal (though I know there is little chance of that) just to try to get a straight answer on the music replacement issue...and also to voice my dissatisfaction on that front. Guess my emails will have to suffice.

We are fortunate though that Fox and Warner Bros are so gracious. It says a lot for their respect of their customers and definitely means a lot to me! [IMG]

It's surely not a coincidence that the studios that are most interested in communicating with their consumers are also the studios that release the best-quality product.

Thanks, Paul! I was, and expect Jim was as well, looking at the various main pages and announcements for something everyone would generally see, rather than a thread in the Film forum.

    Here's a link directly to Ron's details:

Jamie, it's only Warner. Fox is mentioned as being a nice studio to chat with, too. But this chat is strictly with WB.

Is it too early to ask someone to ask about Welcome Back Kotter and Roots the Next Generations if they get through in the chat? I was very unsuccessful with my YO'S last time. [IMG]
