I've been playing around with lspcad and I am having a problem with what the line should look like. I am trying to design a vented sub. Here are two questions/problems I'm having

I have been able to make the line completely flat, but it always drops off before it gets to the tuning freq. of the port. The dropoff is usually around 3 db. Does this matter?

The second question is does the line need to be completely flat or is it okay if there is a 1 db drop or rise?

Thanks

That's normal.

Depending on your room, a small rise or dip is negligible in the overall scheme of things.
