* "Uh, Dave...there's a new store in the Roundup! What's up with that?" Answer: since this week is so deep in catalog titles, and since both Best Buy and Circuit City are A) notorious for not getting catalog titles in quickly, B) don't get some of them in at all, and C) sell them for more than they ought to in a lot of cases, then I thought it was good to have another store to compare them to this time around. I picked Borders, as they are in a lot of places (though by no means everywhere), and they stock the catalog titles pretty quickly. Whether or not I keep them in the Roundup is to-be-decided. Yes, those prices for "Lenny" and "Plenty" are accurate per their website.
* Wow, LOTS of catalog titles coming out, many of them good. I myself am going to go broke, and so soon after the purchase of my Widescreen TV! The Accused, Can't Stop The Music, Eye For An Eye, Fatal Attraction, Highlander, Indecent Proposal, The January Man, Lenny, and The Temp are all mine for sure, with lots of other possibilities later on. Extremities might make a good triple-feature along with Accused and Eye For An Eye, so that will be in my sights. Other cool stuff as well, but I'll let you guys decide for yourselves without more chatter from me. I'm sorry that there were so many good releases this week to list EVERYTHING, but 32 titles ain't bad, eh?
* I already found 3 Worlds of Gulliver before street date, but am going to take it back because it's 4x3 and I was told that it is OAR that way, but now I'm told it's not. I'm pretty deep in discs to watch, so I'll return it until I know for sure. Besides, it was hardly the best price on the block.
* Target has The Man Who Wasn't There for $17.99, and "Low Price" for Black Knight and Domestic Disturbance
* K-Mart has Highlander SE (*not* the Immortal Edition) for $9.99, Black Knight for $19.95, and Domestic Disturbance for $22.95.

Wow, a lot of the catalog ones are borderline for me, but the prices sure are tempting.

Will have to see what the ol' checkbook feels like when Tuesday rolls around.

Erik, me too. Same place that I mentioned had Shackelton a week early (before A&E showed the show). I'm really curious becuse the retailer I'm talking about has done this several times in the last few weeks.

Here's something you guys might like. The K-Mart near me has Anchor Bay's Tapeheads for $6.99! If your local store doesn't have it, here's what you do: Get on I-95 and get off at Academy Rd./Northeast Philadelphia. Make a left at the light. You can't miss it.
BTW - If anyone wants Domestic Disturbance and/or Novocaine pretty cheap... email me.
Actually, scratch that. I'm off to post my "on sale" titles in the proper forum...

I bought Fatal Attraction at BB matching CCs price. Then I thought about it.... I can not look at Glen Close to this day without getting a strange feeling inside. I'm not really sure this is one to "own".

32 titles wasn't enough?

I took a trip to Costco, to see if I could find stuff cheaper there that wasn't listed on their website. Fatal Attraction was NOT there at all (no loss, given CC's lowball price). Black Knight $17.49 (50¢ more than CC); Ultimate Fights FlixMix was best price at $13.99.
I'll be headin' to CC and BB tomorrow after work.
