Way to upgrade Panny RP-56 firmware? (1 Viewer)

Hey all, I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade the Panasonic RP-56's firmware, if they even support newer releases.

Well, the primary motivation would probably be to fix the CCS (cross-color suppression) bug. This would be the ultimate low cost progressive player if that was fixed.

Could you point me to a thread explaining this "bug". This is the first I have heard of it.
