I've never gotten into the toilet paper debate because I usually end up pulling the whole roll off and setting it on the counter or back of the toilet as I use it.

Now, the paper towels in the kitchen....I've got those on a side mount, so the roll should be mounted in a way to use the edge of the cabinet to rip it off.

Such a quaint topic from simpler times, when people could buy enough toilet paper to worry about how to dispense it. I may have to change the thread title to "How do you keep your tree leaves green and pliable?"
