okay, I'm going to show my ignorance here, but will this align the picture for a 4:3 set only, or will it also do 16:9?

Scott,
Its a must-have DVD for those that have the higher-end TV sets (16:9). Even a nice thing to have for midrange TV's.
Keep in mind most TV's ship with settings that WILL damage the set if used as-is, this DVD will correct that.
Let me know if youre interested.
