Actually, in a stunning bit of casting news, Jesus will be playing himself in this. It was part of Scorsese's negotiation with God, he would keep it under 90 minutes if Jesus would play himself. Incredibly, God and Jesus agreed to this!

Maybe he can bring back the Last Temptation cast and do some expensive digital de-aging on Dafoe, Keitel and Hershey.
