UHD Discs Being Region Locked (1 Viewer)

It seems that a handful of 4K discs have been region locked, despite there supposedly being no region restrictions for UHD discs. The UK disc of the Death Wish remake, the Shout Factory disc of Weathering with You, and a Finnish disc of Greenland are all reportedly locked to their respective regions. Hopefully, this is not something that will continue.

That would be possible if the UHD discs are hybrids containing the original authored AVC Blu-ray encode on the disc instead of the UHD HEVC encoding.
